We are seeking an energetic, reliable and capable Assistant Manager to join our close-knit and friendly team of professionals at our Rotorua store. This is an excellent opportunity if you want a managerial, administration and sales role but maintain a real 'hands-on' aspect. 


In this position you will:

  • Drive sales in the store with the Store Manager
  • Assist with administration, sales, profit and reporting
  • Assist with coaching and supervising other store staff
  • Assist in the store's workshop area, fitting tyres will be required
  • Set instore targets to drive, achieve and report on monthly KPI
  • Be capable of running the store in the Manager's absence
  • Assist in creating and supporting a Safety First culture
  • Saturday work is essential


If you have:

  • Proven sales experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Tyre industry knowledge (preferred but not essential)
  • Be a strong team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Health and Safety focus
  • A full clean driver's licence
